Bentley Arnage Green Label 1999

1999 BENTLEY Arnage Green Label 4.4 BMW V8 Vin Number: SCBLB51E5 XCH02621 Registration Number: T142TVM Taken as a part exchange from an elderly gentleman who purchased the car in 2014 at 72,000 miles. The incremental MOT certificates show a very gradual yearly increase to the current 79,000 miles.
Overall a nice example finished in dark metallic blue. The car drives very well with the usual ample Bentley performance, taut smooth ride & seamless gear changes. We are trying to locate the previous service history which we understand to be extensive. To the interior is cream leather piped in dark blue. Blue carpets are fitted throughout including the cavernous boot
We are in the process of putting a fresh years MOT on the car so it will be supplied to the lucky bidder absolutely ready for the next years use. We are also completing a pre sale service upon the car at our local garage.
Bad bits: Light wear to the interior commensurate with the mileage. The boot does not stay open by itself as the gas struts need replacing. Two keys come with the car one of which is used to access the boot as the boot unlock button does not function. The front & rear Bentley badges are faded. I would suggest that these are non original as the car is the 4.4 litre BMW engined version & would have had green badges when new as opposed to the red ones currently on the car. The bonnet release is a little sticky requiring the bonnet to be lifted at the same time the release lever is being pulled. We are lubricating the mechanism which may cure this by the time of sale. Just minor faults really.
Aside from that it's a very nice car & someone will get Bentley motoring at a bargain price.
Under the bonnet the engine bay is very clean & has the appearance of having been very well cared for. The car sits on four chrome wheels in decent order shod with 4 good tyres. A high end Alpine stereo is found in the dashboard with removable face plate.. All the burr walnut dash board & accent woodwork is in very good condition.
This car is a Green label BMW V8 engined version with the far more reliable & trouble free BMW 4.4 litre engine up front. The engine is also far lighter then the bigger Bentley V8 version whilst offering similar performance and far better driving experience due to the lighter weight.
The car comes with all its original books, manuals & warranty booklet as well as both keys & an alarm fob.
