The history of the "CCM" car manufacturer is not documented in major automotive archives. However, other companies with the acronym "CCM" have had a significant impact in related fields.

One such company is Clews Competition Motorcycles (CCM), founded in 1971 by Alan Clews in Bolton, UK. Clews, a former trials and scrambler rider, started the business using BSA engines to produce lightweight, high-performance competition motorcycles. In the years that followed, CCM collaborated with various engine suppliers, including Rotax, Suzuki, and Kymco, and produced models such as the Armstrong MT500, used by the British Army. The company went through periods of financial difficulty, but was relaunched in 2003 with the return of Alan Clews. Today, CCM is known for its handcrafted and innovative motorcycles.

Another company with the acronym "CCM" is Canada Cycle & Motor Co. Ltd., founded in 1899 in Weston, Ontario, Canada. Initially specializing in bicycle manufacturing, CCM later expanded to motorcycle and automobile production. During World War II, the company produced bicycles for the Canadian Army. Over time, CCM went through several phases, including bankruptcy in 1983, and today the brand is primarily used for bicycles manufactured by Canadian Tire.

Finally, there is CCM Finotello, an Italian company founded in 1977 in Pianezza (Turin) by Michele Finotello. Specializing in mechanical carpentry, the company is known for the production and maintenance of cableway systems such as chairlifts and gondolas. In 1993, it acquired the historic Turin company Marchisio, expanding its business into the cableway sector.
