Unique! This 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special is in exceptional condition and the entire owner history is known. Originally from the Australian embassy in Washington D.C. and since 1958 in the Netherlands. There the car ended up with a certain Mr. Kieft. Kieft drove the car very little because he soon bought a new Volvo Amazon for daily use. The Cadillac was given a place in the garage with the result that at the time there were only 30,000 miles on the counter. After the death of Mr. Kieft, his widow never wanted to sell the Cadillac until Mr. Atsma (father of the famous actor) finally took over the car in 1997. Due to minimal use, the odometer only read approximately 30,000 miles when Mr. Atsma bought the Cadillac. After approximately 2.5 years of restoration (mainly paintwork), he had the car inspected at the RDW in 2000, the original license plate was issued. Currently, there are only 42,000 miles on the odometer! In 2015, all the chrome work was done by Tolenaar Rotterdam. Beautiful, completely original interior (Lt. Grey Rosette Pattern Cloth & Lt Grey Plain Broadcloth – trim 60), paint is Cobalt Blue metallic (paint 26). Equipped with E-Z Eye tinted glass, Signal Seeking radio, electric windows, electric front seat. ‘Matching numbers’ engine and gearbox. This luxurious Fleetwood drives like new!
