Ducati S2 SPECIAL 1000 NCR Sassi 1984

One sole owner
Registered in Florence in October 1984 and imported to Switzerland in 1988.
Perfectly functional and road going in Ticino.
Born as a Ducati 900 S2 in 1988, it was entrusted to Giorgio Nepoti and Stefano Caracchi's NCR workshop, operating in Bologna since 1967, who carried out the following work:
Lightened crankshaft,
Displacement increased to 1000 cc with forged pistons,
Machining and polishing of all thermal components, especially the pipes and cylinder head (Giorgio Nepoti).
Optimization of the frame and suspension (Stefano Caracchi).
Subsequently entrusted to Mario Sassi in Casalgrande (RE) for the following work:
Installation of a Sassi dry clutch,
Modification of the kickstart system by eliminating the electric starter,
Lighter Lithium battery,
Akront aluminum spoked wheels,
Aluminum fuel tank,
Sassi fiberglass seat,
1976 900 SS windshield,
Special black and gray Racing paint job.
Lighter instrumentation.
Following all the modifications listed, the power exceeds 65 kW (88 hp) and the bike weighs only 185 kg.
Important record of participation in various important events and historical re-enactments.
The bike is located in Lugano, Switzerland. Upon request, delivery within Europe can be arranged for an additional charge.
