It is October 17, 1979, and Richard Scott steps into the Ferrari dealership in San Diego, USA. The day has finally arrived. Nine months ago, he knelt at the desk in this dealership and, with a signature on an order form, initiated the production of his Ferrari 308 GTS. Determined, he chose a rare Argento Auteuil exterior with a Nero interior and, of course, an open top to catch the best Californian sun rays. Seeing his vehicle today, every fiber of his being is activated, and the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. The moment has finally come.
Fast forward many years, and this described feeling has not diminished for anyone seeing this iconic Ferrari model from the '80s. This particular car was brought to the other side of the ocean by a Norwegian collector in 2010. Upon arrival, the car underwent a nut & bolt restoration with invoices totaling over 170,000 euros, with attention to every detail and exceptionally documented, including originally stamped booklets, as you have come to expect from us!
