Grigio 550 Maranello This very car was delivered new via Ferrari Switzerland via Walter Hasler AG to Mr. Sigrist. He ordered his in a timelessly classy color combination: Grigio Titanio (Titan Grey) over Naturale (Beige) Leather. Delivered new on the 8th of June 1999 by salesman Niki Hasler (who now runs the dealership). Early in life the car was in the UK (since no RHD 550's exist) and was serviced by Maranello Sales Ltd., the world renowned DK Engineering in 2001 and Graypaul. The car has sat unused for some time after which it was found by a collector from Cannes who had the serviced by a Ferrari-Maserati-Lamborghini specalist to bring it back to life. We have recently acquired this vehicle and performed further servicing.
A well documented and correct Ferrari 550. Beautiful Grigio Titanio paint over Beige leather. A beautiful body in great condition. We have performed a proper 2-stage paint correction. The wheels are in excellent condition and hardly show damage. The tyres are 2023/2024 Pirelli P-Zero's. The interior is excellent! Beautiful and original Naturale leather - still nice and supple. Sticky parts have been dealt with. No loose leather on steering wheel and airbag panel. The leather on the doorpanels has been straightened in our shop and looks perfect.
A very clean and original engine bay - the engine is the orignial matching numbers unit. The undercarriage is very clean, tidy and original. On the pictures the front engine cover is not pictured - is present and installed now. The car drives fantastic. The engine idles nice and makes great power, the gearbox shifts as it should and the suspension healthy. Sport Mode makes it even better!
In July of 2024 we have finished the major service. No expense spared. New timing belts installed the right way, with the camshafts out and replacing o-rings and seals. Engine and transmission mounts have been replaced. 4 new Pirelli P-Zero tyres were installed, Coolant hose in the 'V' replaced, A/C charged,new brake pads front + rear, new fluids and much more.
It's completely done, tested, detailed and ready to be enjoyed. A fantastic example that needs nothing.
