Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 1969

In the 1960s the PS race with medium sized cars came from the US to Europe. Mercedes was in one of the leading positions with its 300 SEL 6.3. The effort was minimal: They took the body from the S-series and implanted the super strong engine from the Mercedes 600. The standard air suspension gave the high powered saloon flawless road positioning. The market welcomed the new luxury Mercedes with enthusiasm. Between July 1968 and September 1972 6,526 were built. Our Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 was delivered to the US and to our knowledge has had 5 owners. This classic is partially restored and its air suspension, exchange gearbox and its interior have been upgraded. The luxury limousine is registered in Germany and will be a joy on European roads.
