Mercedes-Benz 560 SL 1987

Mercedes-Benz had started in the 1950s to build an SL tradition. From the 190 SL to its successor, the W 113 “Pagoda”, production numbers doubled. So it was especially important to continue this tradition by presenting an SL for international success: The R 107 series, with the 350 SL with V8 engine from 1971 to the 500 SL in 1980. For 19 years of production, demand was always high. For the Japanese and American markets there was also the V8 with 5.6 liter capacity.

Our Mercedes-Benz 560 SL Roadster was registered in Florida in 1987. Carfax confirms the oldtimer’s journey. Today it is registered in Germany and was previously visually (lights, bumpers) adjusted to the European norms. The large engine gives it a confident look and makes it a “Grand Routier” in its finest form. In short: A long distance car for two people who want to travel in style!
