1979 Aston Martin V8 Oscar India finished in Caribbean Pearl with fully retrimmed Parchment hide interior with leather headlining and best quality Wilton carpet throughout. Sold by us to the last owner in 2003 on behalf of the 3rd owner who had acquired the car in 1996. We purchased the car back in 2021 prior to which it had remained virtually unused for the previous 10 years and was in need of recommissioning. Since purchasing this Aston Martin, we have project managed a complete rebuild which has included a full chassis restoration, a full engine rebuild by Davron in Wiltshire, a full gearbox overhaul by P&W engineering, suspension upgraded including a thicker front anti-roll bar and stiffer shock absorbers, a new air conditioning compressor, re-veneering of walnut trims, refurbishment of original GKN alloys, 5 new tyres, beautifully detailed engine bay, boot retrimmed, upgraded sound deadening, most of the brightwork re-chromed, cooling radiator re-cored, and new oil coolers.
