BMW 320 IS, 1988 (first registration 30 June 1988). Colour BMW Delphin Metallic combined with a grey cloth interior. This fabulous BMW 320 IS was sold new in Italy. In April 2023 the car was imported to the Netherlands. The BMW 320is is a special and rare variant of the BMW E30 3-series. It is a BMW M3 with a smaller cylinder capacity for the Italian and Portuguese market to comply with tax regulations. The 320 IS features the same engine as the M3 but with a cylinder capacity of 2.0 litres instead of 2.3 litres. The BMW 320 IS can reach a top speed of 227 km/h (M3 235 km/h) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds (M3 6,7 seconds). The BMW 320 IS is a collector car. Only 3.745 examples were built: 2.540 coupes and 1.205 four-door cars. (17.970 BMW E30 M3 cars were built).
