Highlights
Original 12,500 miles!
Undoubtedly the most beautiful and best example in the Netherlands
Beautiful color scheme
Well-known designer Brook Stevens is the founder of the Excalibur brand. In the mid-1960s, Excalibur released unique, hand-built Roadsters inspired by the legendary Mercedes SSKs. In the 1980s, retro cars were very fashionable and several small car manufacturers came up with interesting models, but the quality was usually not high. Unlike the Excalibur. They produced their own purpose-built frame, all in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bodywork was a combination of polyester and aluminum and of high quality and finish. The new price in 1983 was no less than $56,000! For comparison, a Chevrolet Caprice was under $10,000. It was therefore a toy for the rich and famous, often seen in places such as Hollywood, but also in Europe at places such as Cannes and Monaco.
This one is in exceptionally beautiful condition and is completely original. The history is known. Delivered new in North Carolina and since 1989 in the Netherlands. 2 owners in the Netherlands. Always been an enthusiast's car, only driven 12,500 miles. A fantastic, tasteful color scheme, both a hard and soft top are available. The engine is a 5.0 liter V8, Camaro Z28 specification, with Quadra-Jet and dual exhaust. Of course, power brakes and steering and disc brakes all around. You will not easily find a more beautiful and better example! All original documentation present. Dutch registration.
