The car retains its original 5.0-liter V8 engine making 330 brake horsepower from the factory and a 5-speed manual transmission. The GT model had changed bodywork, unique wheels, bigger brakes, and a more powerful 5.0-liter engine than the 928 S4. Only 808 were sold in Europe, making the GT one of the rarest 928 ever produced.
